On Dec 5, 1911, The Wyoming Amusement company opened its doors after completing the skating rink in the
new Coliseum building.
It took a year for the Brunswick-Balke Collender company to send a man from Denver to install the bowling alley. T. C. Spears leased the Coliseum building and had Chas. Warner take charge as manager. The bowling alleys were on the west side of the Coliseum building as noted in the Sanborn map from August 1912. Glenrock bowlers had several matches with the Casper bowlers here after the opening in 1912. |
